| The Shinto stool is an Asian influenced design that has been created and
recreated by dozens of companies. Co-owner Mark Gatterdam redesigned the
Shinto stool to properly represent the way Hardwood Artisans believes
furniture should be built: solid hardwood, no screws, no nails and lasts for
generations. These pieces feature careful craftsmanship of thru tenons and
wedged keys commonly accented in ebony. To top it off a sculpted seat makes
this piece a perfect balance of functional furniture and fine art. The
design is also crafted in a shorter height which we call our Shinto bench.
It is an ideal height to place in front of your bed or in any living room. |
