Job summary
Due to our continued growth, we have an immediate opening for a sales professional. This position has the potential to grow to a management position for the right candidate. You must have an interest in furniture, design or craftsmanship to be considered for this position.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Showing up on time!
• Learning our company procedures and full product line
• Educating our customers on our furniture.
• Carrying out a sale from the initial meet and greet, to places a sales order, all the way through to following up on the delivery of a piece.
• Being an advocate for the company as well as the customer in order to complete honest and fair transactions.
• Maintaining the appearance of the showroom (including general cleaning and minor furniture repair)
• Keeping up with and completing showroom paperwork (sales contracts, inventory, etc)
• Customizing our standard furniture line to fit the requirements of a customer.
• Being willing and available to learn about furniture and craftsmanship.
• Clearly communicating to the shop and the appropriate directors when the need arises.

Requirements/ Qualifications:
• A passion for design – in furniture, interiors, and/or architecture.
• Genuine interest or knowledge in craftsmanship and hardwood furniture.
• Exceedingly reliable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability once trained to work without guidance.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• A positive attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse work group environment.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to a fast paced team oriented environment.
• Sound judgment in decision making ability.
